Download the file GLS9UPGR.EXE *  (4.53 MB) This file is only for those who currently have GLS v8.0x or GLS v8.909x installed on their computer.  If you do not have an installed version starting with 8, then download the Full Version. Once downloaded, double-click this compressed self-extracting file to automatically starts the installation process. * GLS Version 9.00x through 9.9xx requires a different Unlock Code than previous versions and requires an Upgrade Fee ($35.00).

This UPGRADE is needed only if you have a previous version of GLS v 8.0x or v8.9x installed on your computer.  If you have a version other than a version that starts with the number 8, then you are on the wrong page.

THIS UPGRADE WILL NOT WORK with any version of GLS prior to version 8.0 (i.e. v1.1  thru v7.9x).  If you have a version earlier than v8.0, you must download the FULL VERSION.  Check the About Box in your program to see which version you have…  If you already have version 9.0x installed then download the UPDATE files.

DOWNLOAD and "SAVE IT TO DISK" the file GLS9UPGR.EXE which is a self-extracting executable file that contains the setup files that will upgrade any version of GLS that starts with the number 8. This file has the latest version of GLS and no other updates or patches are necessary at this time.  Click here for a history of GLS ("bug fixes" and program enhancements) to date...

Once downloaded, Double-Click on the file GLS9UPGR.EXE to extract all the files and to start the installation process.  See READUPGR.TXT for further instructions and information...

This upgrade WILL copy your current GLS v8.x database and convert it for use with GLS v9.x.  If you wish to have a "clean install," (i.e. start from scratch) then uninstall GLS v8.x then install the FULL VERSION of GLS v9.9x.

Once the new version is installed, there still may be a "GLS8" folder under the "C:/ProgramFiles/Golfsoft" folder.  This folder can be deleted along with all its subfolders and files.  Again, make sure any files you may need or want are backed up before deleting files...

Back up your v8.x database and any files or reports you wish to keep before installing this upgrade.
